Receiving national and international exhibitors, buyers, architects and designers, the 49th Vitoria Stone Fair | MarmoMac Latin America will take place between February 11 and 14, with the expectation of having more than 18 thousand visitors from 50 countries.
With Brazilian exports of natural stones reaching the $ 1 billion mark this year and warming projections in the construction market for 2020, big names in the ornamental stone sector and their technologies have confirmed their presence at Vitória Stone Fair | Marmomac Latin America 2020, trade show that opens the international calendar of events for the natural stone industry, in February, with an estimated audience of 18,000 people from 50 countries.
Exposing the most diverse materials – quartzites, marbles, granites – the options displayed at the fair range from the most basic to the super exotic. The event, which is the industry’s premier meeting in Brazil and the Americas, has also become a venue for bringing together architects and designers interested in the potential of natural materials for creative use and construction.
“Vitória Stone Fair provides the visitor with a unique experience: getting to know the technology and transformation of the stones, from the very beginning: extraction, processing of plates and high value-added pieces such as furniture and works of art”, explains the director of Milanez & Milaneze – organizer of the fair and part of Veronafiere group – Flávia Milanez Milaneze.
For the third consecutive year, Vitoria Stone Fair | Marmomac Latin America will have spaces for the application of stones in design and architecture. Projects include an exhibition of pieces produced with natural stones, created by renowned designers; and an exhibition that displays materials considered to be trends for the upcoming seasons.
Within the event, another project is the Buyers Club, which enables the coming of international buyers from strategic markets. Organizers expect around 100 foreign buyers to come to the fair as guests of Milanez & Milaneze.
Opportunities to engage in meet-ups, talks, and exclusive meetings, focused on facilitating business, are also included on the schedule, giving a chance for visitors and companies to learn, exchange information and seal partnerships.
