Vitória Stone Fair boosts the growth of the stones industry
With the presence of a distinct public and the forecast of the executives for good businesses along this year, the Vitória Stone Fair 2013 reassured its position as a space of Excellency to present the trends and news of the industry of ornamental stones in Brazil and throughout the world.
During the four-day event, more than 24 thousand visitors from 56 countries were able to check closely the diversity of Brazilian stones, machines with the latest technology, new materials and equipment and artwork from other countries, along with 420 national and international exhibitors.

In addition to novelties, the fair served as a space for the announcement of measures favorable to the stone industry by the state and federal governments, with the presence of the governor of Espírito Santo, Renato Casagrande, the deputy governor, Givaldo Vieira, Secretaries of the States, president of the Brazilian Mining Institute (Ibram), José Fernando Coura, president of Sindirochas, Samuel Mendonça, president of Cetemag, Emmic Malacarne, businessmen, politicians and industry professionals.


Tributes and partnerships also marked the first day of the event, with the handling of the title of citizen of Espírito Santo by the Legislative Assembly of Espírito Santo to the president of Ibram, and the presentation of the Vitória Stone Fair 2014, which marks the beginning of a partnership between Milanez & Milaneze and the Italian group Veronafiere.
Luxury of the stones
For another year, the beauty of the dimensional stones was the main attraction of the fair. The exhibitors used the event to launch new materials and introduce new concepts in the use of marble and granite, attracting attention from all over the world.

This peculiarity of the fair also drew attention of architects and designers from Brazil, who attended the event, performing alongside the first National Convention of the Association of Interior Designers (ABD). "This type of initiative brings together professionals from a very important segment in the global scenario, in which Brazil is a benchmark", says Renata Amaral, president of the organization.

With the presence of a distinct public and importers, the Vitória Stone Fair 2013 achieved its main goal of offering exhibitors the opportunity to do a widen exchange with its consumers and seek new partnerships, present the novelties of the industry and assist in the development of the Brazilian economy.

In 2014, the Vitória Stone Fair will be held from 18 to 21 of February in the Carapina Pavilion in Espírito Santo.
